Session guide
From cart to first lesson
Everything between choosing a course and pressing play, in the order it happens, including what to do if a step does not go to plan.
- Step 1
Choose
Pick a course or a programme, or let the pathway planner suggest an order.
- Step 2
Cart
Your cart keeps your choices while you decide. Nothing is charged here.
- Step 3
Your details
On the checkout form you give your name, email and address, and tick the box that confirms you agree to the terms.
- Step 4
Pay
A secure payment page takes your card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We never see the card number.
- Step 5
Order page
You land on your personal order page, which stays at the same link for good. Keep it private.
What arrives by email
Once your payment is confirmed, we send an email to the address you typed at checkout with the details you need to start watching. It names the courses it covers.
- It arrives within one working day of your payment.
- It is the moment your access begins, and your 24 months run from the day you paid.
- If it is not in your inbox, look in spam, junk and promotions, and add hello@e-learningmasterygateway.co.uk to your contacts.
- If you mistyped your address, tell us and we will correct it. Your order page is the same either way.
Access details arrive within
one working day
Your order page shows Paid straight away. Nothing needs doing in the meantime.
What you watch on
The lessons are streamed in a web browser. There is nothing to install, and nothing to download.
Laptop or desktop
The best fit if you are following along in your own music software, with the lesson on one screen and your project on the other.
Tablet
Good for watching a unit through first and doing the work afterwards, on the sofa or on the move.
Phone
Fine for a lesson in a spare ten minutes. Use Wi-Fi where you can, because video uses mobile data.
Good to have
A reliable internet connection and a pair of headphones. A lot of what is taught is heard, not seen.
How long you have
Access lasts 24 months from the date of your payment. Within that time you can watch any lesson as often as you like, on your own devices.
The longest item we sell, The Producer Programme: Idea to Release, is 35 h 9 min of video. At its suggested pace of 4 hours a week that is about 9 weeks, a small part of the 104 weeks you have. When the period ends, access ends, so it helps to start soon after you buy.
If something does not go to plan
Most problems have a short fix. If yours is not here, contact us or use the chat with your order reference.
- No email after one working day
- Check spam, junk and promotions first, then the address on your order page. If it is wrong or the email is not there, write to us with your order reference and we will sort it out.
- The payment page showed an error
- Your card issuer sometimes declines a payment the first time, or asks you to confirm it in your banking app. Try again, or try Apple Pay or Google Pay instead. If money left your account but your order page does not show Paid, tell us.
- You left the payment page before finishing
- Nothing has been bought. Go back to your cart and check out again.
- You lost your order page link
- Check your browser history and your email. If you cannot find it, contact us and we will help you recover it.
- A lesson will not play
- Reload the page, try another browser or device, and check your connection. If it still fails, tell us which lesson, your device and your browser. That counts as a fault and we will fix it.
- You want to cancel
- You can before your access details are sent. The exact rule is in section 5 of the Terms of Sale.
Not sure where to start?
Pick the sentence that sounds most like you. Each shelf has one course we would watch first.
